Without wanting to come off as a damage control spinning fanboy I think they'll be about even or with a slight advantage to PS3. Honestly some people are just overreacting to the numbers. Is it really that unexpected that Xbox won this month between the Walmart deal and the MW2 bundle?

Truth is, it's easier to create a deal with the 360 since the arcade is somuch cheaper.

Hey, i thought 360 would win until BF After that... 99% of people thought PS3 would take it, including Brett.

But, we will see. I expect it to be close whatever happens.

There have been a few deals and the 360 deals are same or better. So I expect 360 sales to be better in December than PS3 at this point.

Last week
Target Xbox 360 Arcade came with extra controller
Target PS3 350GB came with extra controller

Amazon had 360 Elite for $269 and the $50 gift card when bought with Beatles Rock Band

TRU had 360 Arcade for $99 when bought with $149 accessory and game bundle

Walmart supposedly has 360 Elite with $50 gift card deal next week

Best Buy next week has the following 360 deals:
Free $50 Gift Card w/ purchase of both Elite and Beatles Rock Band
Free $25 Gift Card w/ purchase of both Arcade and Beatles Rock Band

Target this week has the following:
Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle $299.99 - Free Live Card $19.99 Value

It sounds like people were expecting the 360 to have sold more than PS3 in USA for November. I did not get that feeling.

It should be noted that not a single worthwhile release comes out in December for either system. So this sales race is purely because of the season.

So I think 360 will take it cause its cheaper. Lots of last minute gifts dads in action...

It is obvious that the PS3 is destined to 3rd place in North America...

The price drop and Uncharted 2 helped, but it just wasn't enough. 360 is destined for third in Japan (Nothing can help it the rest of the generation there).

The battleground for the next year is in Europe/Others. Can PS3 hold momentum or will 360 win it back again? It will be interesting if nothing else!
