It's not that important, so I wouldn't focus on it too much.

Blogs section would be pretty cool, but the only one that would be interesting would be mine.......

I think I would use it, but also think that there could be more important things to implement, but it is your call.

i dont know--some people cant live with out them but the forum seem to fill that need for me

If people want to post something, they'll do it in the forum, which will get front page attention.

I think anything that diverts the time you spend on getting the most accurate sales information in the least time possible onto this site is a waste of your valuable time. Get someone else to do it if need be and please focus on the heart and soul of vgchartz which is numbers.

I HATE COMMUNITY BLOGS

I'm sorry, but I really do hate those. They completely destroy the forums (look at Destructoid) and they are rarely more interesting than just topics on a forum. On top of that, they're harder to sift through to actually find something to read. Lets say these things do happen and I want to read things on Zack & Wiki, well instead of just heading over to the Nintendo section I have to wade through the c blogs because people would much rather promote their c blog than make a forum post.

This site really does a lot already and should probably make sure it does all those things perfectly (or near at least) before it thinks about expanding. This even really isn't a news site or any place where blogs would fit.

I don't think a blog section would add anymore than the forum. However if you (or a mod liek TheSource) were to have a blog about site goings on that would be pretty cool. You could still use the forums for items needing feedback but a blog section that had info on site problems, new mods, downtime, site directional issues, operator feedback etc. would be cool. That would cut down on the many of threads where people have some question for you are you have said something in one thread but it gets buried.
