hi everyone, quick question, recently i became interested in purchasing the three current HD TR games; legend, anniversary and underworld. What are the overall opinions you have on those games? Is the gameplay similar to prince of persia? Which one is the best of the three? thanks you

Here are my impressions on Tomb Raider: Underworld: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=50161 . Anniversary was pretty good too.

the gameplay is a lot closer to Uncharted (with less refined shotting) than prince of persia. Legend is the best of those in my opinion, anniversary is a remake of the original PS1 Tomb Raider. Underworld is good but VERY buggy/glitchy and all have camera issues. They all combine platforming elements with puzzle solving and the focus is rarely on the gun play

TR: Underworld is great, and should be experienced by any gamer who likes action-adventures.

Yeah I'd say the gameplay is rufly similar to Prince of Persia.

I like TR much better than the last PoP game. Gunplay is actually fun unlike combat in PoP.

I played the last 3 and all have been solid 8/10 games

Legend leads in to Underworld story wise, but you wont be lost in either...

Anniversary is remake of part 1.

All 3 are pretty similar in gameplay so you could just do Underworld I guess as its the best one.

Edit - actually do legend and then udnerworld. they are like 6-7 hours long and this way it will feel like one 14 hour game. If you still have the need for more TR, go for anniversary...which actually can be purchased within TR legend game as DLC for pretty cheap.

Hmm, I'm kinda in the same boat as OP, I loved the old ones but hated Angel of Darkness. I'm seriously considering getting the latest ones if they're any good.

I think their great. I just recently thought about playing Underworld again because I still haven't finished it.

There all good, If you have played Uncharted 2 or even the first one, It may ruin you from the Tomb Raider series. Its good but not even close to Uncharted 2 in my opinion.
