And I wish Miner: Dig Deep would win GOTY this year.  Just because you wish it to be so, doesn't make it so.  It will be a tough battle for even RPG of the year.  I am willing to give FFXIII JRPG of the year now, probably due to the lack of competition.

When will you JRPG only gamers get it (not to mention PS3 only)? FFXIII has no chance of GOTY with Mass Effect 2 anywhere near it.

As I've said before the Mass Effect Triology will be like the Lord of the Rings for gamers in deep space. The only true epic series of this generation. People actually believe one Final Fantasy game or even its side story can topple such a huge game with such an amazing story which leaves all the choice up to you.

i'm i the only one that hates it when known personalities are used for voice acting? i find myself incredibly disengaged from any animated character if when i hear the voice i can identify the actor.

ok ur ME fanboyism is unbelieveable. Look ME2 is going to be an epic game we know that, i know that and im very excited for it. But cmon u honestly think FFXIII cant match that? ur crazy. LOL......FFXIII doesn't stand a chance. SE stated Versus would be better anyway so that just cancels out how "EPIC" this game will be. Besides its just a linear story for us all to enjoy. Mass Effect has a few endings and a few ways to play. Enjoy the epicness in multiple ways. :)

While I love both games, I think Mass Effect is going to be more critically acclaimed thus resulting in RPG of the year category. Final Fantasy XIII will have to do a lot of things to regain JRPG status in gaming.

how does that cancel it out??? so wat if versus may or may not be better, it dosent mean FFXIII wont be an epic game. It still has a solid chance at being epic. and if versus is better ,well then that will be an even more epic game lol. But if u agree with that ridiculous statement i guess u can conclude that ME1 isnt an epic game b/c ME2 will is better right???
