Well I had hoped for a little bit more out of Samurai Warriors 3 and a lot more from Phantasy Star Portable 2 but still good sales for both. Other than that it was a great week for Japan and can't wait to see finalized hardware data.

unless PS3 got a big boost this week i don't expect PS3 to be > than wii for this year.  Next week Tales of Graces plus it will get further boosted from holidays, then wii should be around 150k on FF13 week due to seasonal effects alone. PS3 might sell more than 150k that week, but not by much.

PSP almost outsold DS in 2008, it passed it in the last or second to last week. That was actually a really similar situation to PS3/wii this year. 

and yes saturn did outsell ps1.

I believe that FF 13 week will be a lot higher then the Wii week I think that 50k are only the limited bundle plus 150k average plus 50 k boost so 250k seems resonable its the strongest week of the whole year. The PS3 will match easily the NSMBWII numbers of this week with FF13 they already have an advantage in the 5 MN vs 10 MN race. But we will see the outcome in some weeks everything can happen in Japan both scenarios are similar likely to happen. I bet on the PS3. The 60k boost for the FF13 demo in a slow sales time is an indication for me that FF13 will move a massive amount of consoles in Japan.

I'd say it's very possible.  Crazy stuff happens in Japan.  A big game on a less-saturated system can do alot.  Now that I see bundles are being very supply restricted, I'm changing my prediction to 150-200k instead of 250k.  But 250k is very possible.  I don't think anyone called 150k for the slim release...

360 outsold the Go this week, lol. reminds me of the GBA vs PS3 race in America in 2007.

Wii goes up 59k from NSMB Wii first week and I expect a jump each week through December. The Slim just keeps selling.
