PC has more users, so if you have a problem, or can't find something, or are looking for user reviews of any sort of software at all, you'll have 2890572903857 people to talk to, or forums to Google through.
If you have a Mac, and you have a problem, or can't find something, or are looking for user reviews of something, you'll find about 30 people discussing it online. You might have to go to a store to talk to a "genius" who will let you make an appointment for a week later, so you can stand in line for an hour, just so they can say "oh, a new battery costs $200, but has a cute sticker on it, we don't carry the regular $40 battery, would you like to make an appointment at another store for next month?"
If you have Linux, and you have a problem, you'll find 1 or 2 people in the galaxy who can help.
So I'd go with PC. Also, you can build your own PC on the cheap (or pay a friend to do it), while Apple is trying to sue everybody that builds their own Mac, so they can keep their prices inflated.
