Forums - PC - MAC or PC

PC has more users, so if you have a problem, or can't find something, or are looking for user reviews of any sort of software at all, you'll have 2890572903857 people to talk to, or forums to Google through.

If you have a Mac, and you have a problem, or can't find something, or are looking for user reviews of something, you'll find about 30 people discussing it online. You might have to go to a store to talk to a "genius" who will let you make an appointment for a week later, so you can stand in line for an hour, just so they can say "oh, a new battery costs $200, but has a cute sticker on it, we don't carry the regular $40 battery, would you like to make an appointment at another store for next month?"

If you have Linux, and you have a problem, you'll find 1 or 2 people in the galaxy who can help.

So I'd go with PC. Also, you can build your own PC on the cheap (or pay a friend to do it), while Apple is trying to sue everybody that builds their own Mac, so they can keep their prices inflated.

Well if you want an overpriced computer get a Mac. If you want one that works just as well if not better for much less money then get a PC.

Where is apple suing people, other than those who resell or dumb media establishments? Links/proof for your FUD please.

With the IntelMacs you can have Windows and MacOSX, both running natively...

With IntelPCs (and some AMDPCs) you can have Windows and MacOSX, both running natively (of course, if you're okay with pirating the latter)...

On every PC and MAC you can have Linux...

Basically what several people have said: PC for gaming, Mac for everything else. If you liked advanced tinkering (which PC, Win and Linux are good for), you probably wouldn't be asking this question. I like the Mac's interface for doing everyday work. Plus, my Mac is more stable than my Windows counterpart.

It's nice that, even though my gaming PC is down until I get a new mobo, I still have my Mac.

I say PC for gaming. Mac if you want to produce music, movies or be a graphic designer.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

PC, I like the ability to build and easily upgrade my computers at will.

if you have the money Get a Mac and Run windows for games and mac for everything else, if your only interested in gaming , then get a PC and Save ALOT Of money

Music - Forest Swords

Ahem... what do you want to use it for?

Your answer will determine the answers of those on the boards. I am a PC person myself, but then again, I enjoy the freedom it affords, like to play games on the PC and did I mention that 7 rocks?

You get much more value for your money, a much more mainsteam product, and a much more significant lesson in the world of business with a PC. If you are going to work in the world one day, and I assume you are, skills running your Mac won't help you, and not knowing how to use Windows is unacceptable.

If you aren't familiar with Windows and PCs already, get a PC for god sakes. It's basic education in modern society.

If you do already know how to use a computer, then why are you even asking? PC is the obvious choice. It's either much cheaper, or much more powerful depending on which way you go, it can play games, and do everything a Mac can do so what are you waiting for?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
