oh, i just started EO2 yesterday.... should I even bother now?

Are you asking if you should continue playing a great game because the sequel was announced?

That makes no sense.  Do you make it a habit to just throw away games you buy when sequels get announced?  Did you actually even buy it?

My friend lent it to me.

I know how long the games are, and I have plenty of games that I havent finished yet either like ff6.

I'm asking if I should just wait it out and finish the other games.

I would still think about playing at least one of the first two before III. I & II were both somewhat similar so you can probably get away with only playing one of them, but this game seems to go in a slightly different direction.

F O E ! F O E !

That is awesome.  I shall forever hate that first floor FOE that KO'd my whole party in EO2.

I view the video as a tribute to ALL RPGs that are brutally difficult.

Another great news

Yes.

@ Mirson

Do it. If you're willing to invest the time into them, they're really fun and rewarding games.

How long is the game?

Difficulty plays a good part in the length. If you are good at it, it shouldn't be too long, but if you aren't too good then plan to die again and again  probably doubling the amount of time you spend.

The only reason why I have not attempte the series is the First Person view... why?

Am I the only one that got bored to heck with creating my own dungeon then exploring it and realizing I created it and I must really suck.

Oh and the 1st person combat? I think I can deal with that actually as I used to and still do enjoy text based games but Eterain Odyssey didn't hit me the right way.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
