i disagree

Yuri Lowell is one of the best jrpg characters EVER. The rest of the cast of characters were awesome as well, the story was great and the battle system was easily the best in the series. The visuals were amazing as well.

Cless Alvein, Arche Klaine and Klarth Lester are much, much better characters, plus you can't really top the story of Tales of Phantasia, if you have played it you know what I mean, especially if you know the true intentions of Daos.

I somewhat agree with you, Tales of Phantasia is excellent game, but I am huge fan of Vesperia and Symphonia! (More Symphonia than Vesperia)
Also darth lol!

@Acevil
Fair enough, I just didn't like ToV at all, especially since I had been replaying a lot of ToP (I just love the Moria Mines, it's one of the best and hardest secret dungeons ever concieved for a RPG) when I played ToV, and it felt like a huge letdown.

I think it might have a chance. Right now MGS4 is the best game this gen. for me by a long shot. It was the closest thing I have played to perfection. It's going to be tough to top that.
Second best is Uncharted 2 but that's also going to be extremely hard to top.
I have seriously high hopes for Final Fantasy XIII though, and the demo was insane, so we will see.
I hope it is at least top 10 for this generation!! I just don't feel like its going to be better than BioShock, Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Uncharted 1/2, or the eventual new Zelda game!!
well as it currently stands MGS4 is the best game this gen. followed closely by uncharted 2. FFXIII will have to be as good as those games if it wants that title and considering the FFX team is developing this, then they have a pretty good chance of doing so
