Yes, but not so much when you consider Nintendo games (and some other Japanese games).

not everyone likes MW2 , alot of the westerners hate anything because its "too japanese" . he is one of the main reasons why gaming industry in japan is failing.
lets hope he doesn't give the shaft on them with FFXIII.

The Japanese avoid our games for several reasons.

1. They don't like our character designs because they are "too bland"
2. They don't the option to rotate the camera
3. They don't like open world games

Not just MW2 bud. Assassin's Creed 2, God of War 3, GT5 (yeah its made in Japan, but for a mostly western audience), Heavy Rain, Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo 3, Gears of War, etc.

 

What's japan got? Final Fantasy?
