1) Try to find original console + games.

2) Try to find PS1 ports.

3) PSP + DS remakes.

4) Emulator for (nearly) every newer consoles and handhelds.

I always got the superior console (SNES/N64/GC). It's just this gen that the PS3 is the superior console in my eyes.

Well this game has been getting too much hype it might disappoint people who have never played a JRPG before.

If you're thinking this is like a WRPG or an action game, you might be extremely pissed off.

I doubt there's a single JRPG fan in the world who hasn't at least tried one. It's been around for 20 years.

Even for JPRG veterns, game can be disappointing. At least for me, FF isn´t pinnacle of gaming anymore. But I don´t say, that game cannot be grat, we will see, we will see...

i can't wait to play crystal bearers though.

To be honest, I'd say I'm quite a JRPG fan but FF's aren't really my favorite.
