I think we probably understand it wrong.

We are thinking about the quality of the game when he said that.

He probably meant the effort they put in it.

Is a bit like the EA situation.  We will make a Dead space game for Wii;...then find out it is an on rail game;...Game can be good still Wii fans felt like EA didn't put much effort in it.

Thats basically my view too.....there is a reason I haven't bought a wii game since SSBB....something HAS gone wrong somewhere with the Wii & my tagret demographic

Actually I heard that as:

"you can't fault Nintendo but... I'm sure as hell not gonna let that stop me from doing it"

 

Not the middle guy did say what I stated in my above post (maybe int he first video or maybe the second).....check my embedded video post

he said he'd give them an A+.......just because they are on top

but a D or something for games

thats my main point, lets be honest here, they were horrible towards the wii barring pachter & jeoff (only at times)

the other one was pissing me off (the one on the far right)....he should show some respect to nitnendo imo.....how he had the nerve to grudge of a 2D mario as if its any random game....I DO NOT KNOW

wanna know something worse?

I'm 99% sure he was lapping up LBP a year ago & he felt it could help PS3 sales

so overall I think his disappointment with nintendo in terms of harcore games (which I have too actually) has blinded him completely

he was literally TROLLING & he was being unproffesional

the middle guy was a bit more reasonable

pachter was fine but made such silly factual errors in between

Geoff again....he's the most balanced guy there, I'm surprised he didn't defend nintendo a bit

Wow that was a terrible segment.

How in the world does it make rational business sense for them to release a Wii HD, and soon?

What's wrong with 2D Mario?

The industry continues to have it in for Nintendo and its sad and funny and irritating all at the same time

Like many of us have been saying...ignore the haters, and continue to merge forward. We know NSMBW was awesome, we know Muramasa was awesome, we know LostWinds was awesome, we know A boy and his blob was awesome, and we know Wii Sports Resort was awesome. The miniscule and shrinking gaming press isn't going to stop Nintendo from continuing to succeed. Nor will the PS3 and 360 fans who keep trolling our forum (You know who you are).

Keep going strong through 2010!

Rails was a bad design choice. It didn't magically mean the polygons, textures, effects, and AI were easy.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
