I really don't care if it feels more like a WRPG :P

King's Field also felt more of a WRPG kind of game, yet it was a JRPG as well ;) From Software have a history of not sticking forcibly to one of the labels commonly made for RPG's. But if we consider JRPG's, RPG's made in Japan, then Demon's Souls is a JRPG ;)

Lost odyssey for me. While the overarching story was average, it was the personal stories and inter-relationships of the characters that made the game so amazing. Also the main character was finally for once not a whining brooding teenager. Kaim had a thousand years to build up that angst.

I consider Demon's Souls, Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles (+ Fire Emblem since some argue that as well) to be JRPGs.

they are the best! {note I have not played any of the xbox 360 JRPG's}

As for the future, the first person to guess my favorite JRPG in the future gets a hug from my dog!

how can Folklore be an RPG ? =s
its like the colorful version Devil May Cry , you just advance in "Rank" but they don't do anything, and you just "unlock" new moves for your Folk IDs by doing certain tasks.

Agreed but I still want to ge the good ending so that I have all the achievements for it but the level grinding is so dull in that game.
