for once i agree with having Japanese VO.

i really hate female japanase voices , but they are much better than the english ones in this game.

I really have nothing against PS3 RPGs having all the voice options and subs. Actually, they should cause it costs them nothing more and makes people happy.

What I don't like is how they add content to 1 year old game... i just feel robbed of part of the experience... multiplats should be identical (not like batman...)

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Another game to pick up at $20

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

All i was looking for was Japanese voice overs and they have it so I'm happy :D.

why? unless you understand japanese

do you enjoy playing a game in a language you don't understand?

Personally I hate dubs. I prefere both games and movies in their original languages with subs. Why ? because, you're always sure you get what whoever made the media intended. The feel and the flow of the thing.. The structure.

Check out my game about moles ^

^ Yep.... hell tri-Ace recommends the Original language to dubs in ROF and SO4

Many people [much like myself] especially when it comes to anime, prefer to hear the original voices for multiple reasons. One of the reasons for me is that the speech and tone usually fits the characters expression better and matches well with the appearance of the character. It's not about understanding as much as it is the sound itself fitting what you're seeing.

In FF's case though, I don't care for JP VA much but if it's there I'll certainly use it. FF's English VA's have always been good. Every other Game/Anime/Show I'll always watch in the original language. Don't give a damn if that language was Mongolian, Macedonian, Byelorussian, Azerbaijani, you name it... Except Disgaea... I love the english VA's for Disgaea ^_^

Play the 360 version and see if you can stand Lymel and Sarah's voices.  I would love to cut out their voices and read the subtitles.

It's certainly a step in the right direction (allowing the option to remove those horrid voice overs - what I would've recommended, otherwise, would have been to skip the scenes entirely and read the summary provided... yes, both the dialogue and the voices were that bad) with this incredibly broken game, but I'm afraid they'd have to change a lot more about it before it could come close to meeting Tri Ace's preveious standards. I think so at least.

With the prospect of so many seemingly great RPGs, it's just difficult to get excited for this. It is good news, however, that they at least provided some effort in giving fans what they wanted.
