I like this list because it's original. Seriously, I came into this thread expecting the likes of Metroid Prime and Halo and Final Fantasy X to take the top spots, but I was pleasantly surprised. Props to Destructoid.

Missed the point. There was no 0000 AD. It started with 0001 AD. This means the current century didn't really start until 2001, which means the current decade doesn't end till 2010.

2010 is the start of the next decade. DEAL WITH IT.

YOU CAN TYPE WITH CAPSLOCK ON AND ADD EXLAMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!! POINTS ALL DAY, but that's not going to make 2+2 = 6 and it's not going to make the first decade of the millenium end in 2009. Choosing to be wrong is not a good strategy in life.

I can't take any list with Resident Evil 4 in it seriously unless the classic Resident Evil's, 1,2,3 and CVX are ranked higher than RE4
and why doesn't this list include the original Metal Gear Solid?

I'm very surprised and equally pleased with the inclusion of Cave Story and Valkyria Chronicles in this list. Yakuza 3 should have been on there. Yeah I know it hasn't released in the west but that didn't stop Mother 3 from making it. #1 is somewhat controversial but personally I agree with it. Unless The Last Guardian manages to top it I don't think I'll ever play a game as epic and engaging as that one.

Worst...debate...ever!

Anywho, I think Super Mario Galaxy should have been a bit higher (remember that this was supposed to be one of the best games ever when it came out), but it's still a list I can agree with.

My only comment is that is don't see Valkyria Chronicles in the top 10. It's a good game, but in the top ten of the decade?

Resident Evils 1, 2, & 3 nor the original Metal Gear Solid launched during this decade. Code Veronica is the only one.

Well, it's as good of a list as any.

VGchartz top 100 list a few months back was a bit better though in my opinion.
