In the future, it will probably be seen in hindsight as the bigger game of 2009, just that it was not broadly recognized at the time.

no its not, the game has no online support, nintendo played it safe when it came to thise game, surely the game is great but the year is 2009 and a game like that should have online. imo the game doesnt par up to lbp, nsmb feels like it could end in a matter of weeks, but lbp lasts forever....surely its a great game, but def. not goty, or a contender for that matter
