Not sure if they'll be system sellers, but I think both Splinter Cell: Conviction and Alan Wake will do pretty well for themselves.

I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, and Dead Rising 2 myself

Sony has no system sellers left. It is a 3 year old system that is constantly cloning 360 rather than introducing new features itself... Amen to that...
Untill Natal? I can't think of anything ATM but I'll get back to you. However, Halo Reach is still coming to 360 so don't forget about that.
PS3 still has GT5 and FFXIII like many people in this thread said.

You mean the PS3 is cloning the 360, in which the 360 is cloning the PS2? So in terms, PS3 cloning PS2? Everybody takes a bit of what the other competition does so saying one clones another isnt exactly right.
And introducing new features, the PS3 brought in blu-ray and cell processor? Its the only console with blu-ray and the cell, sure it may not mean much to many but thats not considered new enough? Every competitor brings in something new.
So whatever you're amen-ing to its false.
| NJ5 said: The PS3 is almost out of system sellers, with FFXIII (for Japan) and GT5 coming out soon. The 360 seems to have run out of big system sellers, with the possible exception of Natal (but we don't even know what software they have for that). Pretty soon all the hardware boosts will come from price cuts IMO. |
GOW in NA
GT in EU
FF13 in JAPAN
AGENT in NA & EU(i don't think Rockstar North will disappoint,it will be a huge game for sure.Same area as GTA fans)

FFXIII is pretty sure to shift some consoles for PS3 in Japan, while GT5 is almost sure to do so in Others. Both platforms have interesting exclusives coming, some of which are sure to be must have to many, but right now only PS3 has a couple of highly likely system movers left. GoW3 might shift some systems too, but probably not many. But GT5 and FFXIII are pretty sure to shift consoles based on previous history and the fact each is the first real release of the franchise on the console this gen.
I note many others have noted the same, so you can see this is a fairly common view.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
No one has "System Sellers" left and it isnt the games problem. The problem is the install base of the consoles. When GT5 hits next spring/summer the PS3 will have an install base of well over 30 million and GT5P will have sold over 4 million. The GT series is the flagship Playstation brand title. First the PS3 early adopters who are the Sony/Playstation fanatics are also most likly GT fans. Then GT5P hits and GT fanatics jumped in. Then runup to over 30 million console base. This doesnt leave much room for GT5 to move systems to any great extent. Sure the week of launch will have mild bumps, but thats it.
System Seller to me means initial big bump (say double) then long term change of say 25% or more per week. Rarely happens and not going to happen again this generation for any software title.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
So this thread started as a trashy "360 is doomed because it has no system sellers left" thread, and has turned into a PS3 knob slobberin' list thread. Can we get this garbage locked?
Alan Wake and Halo: Reach are sistem sellers that'll come out before Natal.
