Methinks some of you took my "ZOMG AWESOME" bit too seriously. Thread titles like that are often used solely to get more people to read the thread.

I'm a little torn by these ads. Clearly, these are better than the previous ones; they don't have that "What the hell, that's just creepy" effect.

On the other hand, my MAIN complaint about their previous ads was that they almost exclusively appealed to the male, age 16-25 demographic, and that problem still remains. This simply isn't going to appeal to girls, women, young boys (say sub 10), or adults over the age of 40. It's almost exclusively a young male badassness that not only doesn't attract women, but can actually repel them.

Hey...they showed games. Finally. Can't wait for GT5.

like most people here, i wouldn't say "ZOMG", but it's not at all lame.

basically, gets the message across--what ads are supposed to do, instead of being perplexing.

These ads will sell systems. Especially in America.

Testing ...

 That's odd. Because as much as the PS3 ads have sucked until only very recently, Sony has had some great ads for the Playstation, the PS2 and the PSP - not to mention all of their first-party games. Hell, the original Playstation ads were genius - they really made Nintendo and Sega seem like they were behind the times.

 I loved Sony's R&C commercials and their PSP commercials. Not console related but you guys should look up the UK Sony Bravia commericals. There pretty cool.
