So I was playing Crisis Core last night and it made me think of the ending to Dirge Of Cerberus (special ending) and it made me wonder if there was going to be another FF7 game. If Squarenix does make a follow up who will be the lead character? The ending made it obvious that Weiss will be back so I would think that it would be Vincent but if Genisis is in it which he will) then by all rights it should be Cloud to take him on right?

They should remake the original game or just leave it alone. CC was good but the rest of the stuff sucked.

FF7 will be wrapped up with the FF7 Remake/ Collection.

Until then we can probably expect 1 more game based on the FF7 universe, which will likely be a sequel to DoC.

When that comes out, probably for PSP... It will hopefully have a trailer for Remake/Collection

I agree but they left the story open at the end of DOC and I hate crap like that.

Just assume Cloud kicks his ass. Sephiroth was clearly stronger than Genesis in DoC, so Cloud can take him. Wrap the story up in your own mind and embrace a remake and don't wish for them to destroy the legacy anymore than they have.
