Just assume Cloud kicks his ass. Sephiroth was clearly stronger than Genesis in DoC, so Cloud can take him. Wrap the story up in your own mind and embrace a remake and don't wish for them to destroy the legacy anymore than they have.

lol I can do that..DOC was horrible, I only got it to complete my collection.
