...

YAY!! Great news.

it would be cool to have Gears on PS3, but it would just feel wrong. Uncharted doesn't fit on the 360 either. Let's keep them separate...

Out of curiosity, why are you so concerned that the PS3 must not get a Gears title, CGI?

I would love to see it go multiplatform.

Epic are easily talented enough to ensure that both versions look and play the same.

Because every system doesn't need the same games. Out of curiosity, why SHOULD it go multiplatform?

Just to see the internet explode. There hasn't been a good "megaton" announcement as they say since FFXIII E3 08.

It's not my place to say why it should. I'd just like to get some more playtime with the franchise on my own console.

I think I agree deep down though; it's a defining franchise of the 360 so it should probably stay there.

If Microsoft's hiring more people to help Epic then I think it's pretty obvious Epic is content with staying with the 360. There've been rumors of PS3 versions before the first game even came out, and Epic had to shoot them down.
