actually, it doesn't seem like a bad business move for Sony. It instantly increases the potential purchasing base for PSP by 27m at no cost to publishers. Also, the PSP doesn't appear to sell very many games to start off with so people are buying the PSP for music/video/pirating (take your pick) so the ability to purcahse games on the PS3 may not hurt PSP hardware sales. In the end if PSP hardware sales aren't hurt badly, then it is a net profit for them.
However, generally I would agree that it would be a bad business move.
