Forums - General - Paranormal activity "possible spoilers"

Here's a spoiler:

The film is not scary.

Am I the only one in the world that hates the whole 'done with a camcorder' thing? It totally ruined Cloverfield, and don't even get me started on Blair Witch.

I'm off to sulk about how there have been no scary films made in 20 years! :(

What films scare you?

I didn't like it. I can usually easily get into the mindset needed to enjoy a movie, but I just couldn't for paranormal activity. Probably has to do with the fact that I don't believe in demons nor could I consider it to be possible within the context of the movie. The movie is boring, if anything. I was yet another victim of the internet hype machine.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

Pretty much none of them since I hit my teens many moons ago.

I keep seeing ads for scary films with people screaming in the audience or crying outside, and then I watch the film and find nothing scary at all.

The only thing that scares me about films these days is how much it costs to go and watch them at the cinema.

Not scary. The only movie that has ever truly scared me was the original Nightmare on Elm street.

Make your own horror, it will be genius seen as your hard to scare maybe you could make a low budjet movie for hardcore horro fans

to be honest, i think the filmed scared me because it really brushed onto childhood issues, like when my older brother locked me in the loft............................................ and thats where the demon thing was hiding

I enjoyed it. I thought it was creepiest when building suspense, as opposed to when something was actually happening.

For instance, woman standing there for a few hours staring at him - creepy
Woman getting dragged down the hall way - not creepy
And what happened to the scene they always showed in the ads that showed the guy getting thrown at the camera?

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Not bad but overrated. Slept like a baby the night I saw and haven't thought about it since. Wanna see the alternate endings though.
