Final Fantasy VIII had a Choral opening and a Chinese Pop star do a rather nice love song at the end that didn't sound anything close to 'Jpop'.
Final Fantasy IX didn't have anything remotely close to JPOP either.
FFX...no vocal opening and Suteki da Ne.....Not JPOP.
The first game that had 'JPOP' was stupid FFX-2. Do you want that to be Final Fantasy's legacy from now on? To try to draw people in on gimmicks like JPOP singles rather than the game itself? You do realize that's what other RPGs in Japan do to try to gain attention right?
More and more, Final Fantasy XIII seems to be immitating its competition.
i think they shouldnt use any pop song, and if they need to they should use a jap singer
Yuck, I just hope that just in case "morphed chin" Celine Dion remains confined within NA edition!!!
Some people like some are not. If SE change the main theme same thing will happen.
