Ok, now imagine a young couple up on stage playing Natal. Done?

Now, imagine an elderly couple up there. Kinda doesn't fit right.

Now imagine a middle aged couple, its still a bit of a stretch.

It fits with the young but not so much for the older folks, what they are doing there.

Of course thats just that older stage and some people won't even notice it. We shall see what the final marketing theme for this will be.

splinter cell conviction and halo reach are the main games I want for the 360.

I'm playing AC2 now, and WOWSER to the control system on that game...I'm really hoping that SC:C is similiar to that.

Geez they're hyping NATAL like the 2nd coming of Jesus. If it fails it will be one of the biggest flops in gaming history.

I wish the 360 well but I'm sick of hearing about NATAL.

OT:

I honestly don't see how anyone can say this was the Worst year for the 360. Its still selling very well and more importantly its making a decent profit off of hardware, and a very big profit off of software. So the first few years that it was losing money would have to be worse than this year.

Oh of course not, I remember the hype for SSBB, Killzone 2, GTA4, Halo 3, etc.

I think this is the most hype an accessory has ever gotten though. They're treating what is basically an advanced eye toy as a new console launch.

Worst is relative...compared to 2008, 2009 had less buzz, and there are reasons for that.  2009 wasn't a bad year, it just that 306 had so much buzz, heading out of 2008, and 2009 generated no buzz, other than Natal.  It's been all Natal, all the time...now, compared to 2010 (Natal launch, remodel 360 launch, price cuts, new Halo along with other long awaited games), you have to admit that 2009 will pale in comparison.

It may be the worst for "Hype and Buzz" but financially it isn't. And I'm guessing that is what matters most to Microsoft.

As for next year it should be better than this one without a doubt.

LOL...well yeah...Sony loses 600+ million, and people are cheering about how well it's doing, so it's not about money for some.
