There's plenty of Ecchi for Mario characters out there.  Find one.

smoked hostage is right

Like other have stated. When Nintendo is done making consoles they are done making games as well. Hopefully that day never comes.

Nintendo still doomed?

If nintendo stops making consoles, the video game thing ends for me...

^ yep. I would be spending my video game money on more practical things.

Ninty + Me = happy.

Me - Ninty = No more Video game playing.

Didn't anyone else say this? They'd leave gaming.

Nintendo is an integrated hardware and software company, they wouldn't produce one without the other. They'd start selling bathroom scales or something, and no more games. It's been set clear as day, Nintendo is in the business of hardware integrated with software. If they can't do that in gaming, than all their franchises will be retired. This has been made VERY clear already, back when Nintendo wasn't doing so well at that. So stop dreaming.

A more appropriate question would be, what if Sony and Microsoft stopped making consoles.

Then the entire market will belong to Nintendo and 3rd party will be obligated to produce games for the Wii and DS consoles. Nintendo will now be able to improve further their hardware with all the propositions they will get from third parties. Unfortunately, competition is a really good thing. Nintendo produced most of the best game on the market while they were in competition with Sony in the era of the 64.

But it won't be a great loss for Sony and Microsoft if they had left the gaming market.

if nintendo gets brought out by sony or microsoft i will go where nitendo goes, and its hard to buy nintendo since there an very expensive company to buy

Yeah, Microsoft tried to buy them in the middle of the last generation.  Iwata basically told them, in the nicest possible way, where they could stuff it.

If Microsoft can't afford Nintendo, noone can.

no way. do you have a source?

He overstates the case, but it was definitely interested once upon a time.

Hm, I thought it was a bit more aggressive than that, and that it was after Iwata became president.

*shrug*

wow thats insane. i enjoyed reading that article, thanks.

Microsoft's main interest is money, money, money $$$ They don't care about players. All they want is buying competition to ensure their leading market because of their megalomania trip. Microsoft is really mad about the fact Nintendo's leading the gaming market.

yea, seriously, guiduc.

the thing that i always liked about nintendo is the fact that they have self respect. they care about the gamer, care about gaming in general, and have insanely good customer service. their customer service blows my fucking mind.

it really does make sense that nintendo would stop making games if they stopped making consoles. i never heard them say that they make games suited to their hardware, but now that i think about it, it makes a lot of sense. thats just the way nintendo is, and something like that could never be for sale.

I know about customer service. I sent them many emails in a year and I actually get all the answers the day after. They are incredible. That's why they are #1 influent company in the world in front of Apple and Microsoft. Why are you banned?

No Nintendo would mean the end of gaming was drawing near
