That's a very good argument.

It would have been perfect if Rare was still at Nintendo making 3D Platform games

We share very similar thoughts.

I'm with you guys on this subject. For me, it's a close call.

But I think I'll take 3d mario over 2d for singleplayer sessions but i'll take NSMBW to play with friends and family.


You want to make a choice so I can add it?

I don't know. I'm tied between Galaxy's music and innovation, or between incredible multiplayer experience in NSMB Wii and Koopa Kids.

I would say... NSMB Wii for multiplayer.

SMG, as polished and great as it was never held my interest. I got bored quickly with it. Surprisingly so did my son who loved SM64, and SMS on GC.

Definitely 2d Mario for me, I'm oldschool. Loved the DS version too.

2D Mario, 2D has always been more enjoyable than 3D, plus 2D is very accessible, even my mom enjoyed playing NSMB Wii this weekend, kept running into goombas and getting killed, but she had a blast

3D Mario for me. Galaxy was just so magical when I played it. NSMB is awesome, but it doesn't feel the same way as Galaxy did. However, I must add, I haven't played multiplayer yet - that'll happen during Christmas break and my opinion might change by then.

I hate Mario Galaxy i love NSMBW easy call, and thats just comparing them on the Wii

Comparing SMB 1,2 and 3 with M64 is nonsense 2D all the way

Comparing Super Mario World with Sunshine .___.

I vote for 2D Mario for bringing the best game ever to the table, 3D Mario wouldnt exist if it wasnt for the 2D counterpart
