But those max speeds you were hitting with the HDi are almost impossible to reach with the Mazda, without seriously screwing lower gear relations and giving you crappy acceleration, due to it's 5-gear setup.
Which is also the only complain I've got against the 787b. Amazing handling and acceleration. Pretty short 5th gear >_<.
How many laps advantage did you have at the 7 hours you were in?
