They look pretty but SE is going to have a lot of trouble getting the bad taste the previous FF games have left in their mouth.

Fixed. How you feel about a game does not mean the developer is ashamed of it. Bad sales would make the company ashamed, and that is clearly not the case.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

have you ever played a FF game? CGI has been used since the PS1 days. They do the CGI cutscenes and such.
