True, although the top-tier dragons look so much more impressive in Lordly. I'd piss myself if I came face-to-face with one of those puppies...Their stats-attacks makes them even more impressive. Getting some of those Petras...But I'm digressing.

Only barely!

I'll be making another of these threads for when the sequel is inevitably released on the VC.

A Zombie Dragon seems really nice. I kind of want one, but rings seem rare and I don't know if I want to use undead.

Aw man! I so wanted to change names.

And I find large units compeltely usable in this game. Huge stat growths in comparison, and they soak up hits like a dream. Early on an Octopus (4 attacks from the front row!?) is death incarnate on the water - and this game has a lot of water!

But then I just have an affection for the ugly bastards. There's just something so cool about being able to use dragons, you know?

I love using monsters.  They're useable... but they aren't gamebreakers like other classes get to be.

Gotta make sure to team them up with their approrpitate classes.

Puppeteers for Golems.

Dragoneers for Dragons

and Beastmasters for everyone else.

The Undead rule as well... assuming you have a non undead unit backing it up to take out clerics.

Octopus... i rarely use.  Though I think i'll gie it a shot today.

I like the Gryphons/Cockatrice for their chance to petrify.

Also... what do you guys do with the Deneb choice?

I don't know yet! I have heard about it though.

I think I will stab her in the face!

Or something.

I have a feeling that this is going to change how I perceive Person of Lordly Caliber when I play it again. Destin and Debonair showing up must have been a pretty intense rush for those in the know.

My first thought was "Who's Destin".

After i figured it out though I realized that it meant that Lordly Caliber and LUCT must of happened simaltaniously or near so.

Didn't realize you've never played this before... yeah it helps the enjoyment of the game even more when you know these people.

Same with LUCT.

Then I'll play LUCT after this.

What makes you think they happen simultaneously?

Large units are nice early on.  Giant were tough and Griffons have their AOE attack.  Later on though the regular-sized units are just better.

Hmmmm

Well, Gryphons can make units into High Sky movement... can Eagle Men?
