I was done at the gym and thought I would have a look in the local Media Markt superstore located above the gym here in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Stepping inside I noticed it was even more crowded than usual. I got a bit of an unreal feeling when I noticed many dozens of people walking around with PS3 boxes and most of those in long lines at the cash registers had PS3s in their hands.

So I asked a clerk what was going on when I saw a huge pallet of PS3s melt away quicker than an icecream in Dubai. It appears for *one hour only* they are offering 250 GB PS3s bundled with Uncharted 2 for only 288 Euros (including taxes)!

A great deal! If you live nearby you have less than half an hour to pick it up (until 18:00 CET). If you're late then probably you will have to settle with the 99 Euro Nintendo DS Lite offer.

Sounds like a really good offer.

People outside Europe should also know that every Mediamarkt "works on his/her own". The head honcho of every Mediamarkt (a chain of over 520 shops all around Europe except GB) not only is somewhat financially tied to his/her Mediamarkt, s/he can pretty much do whatever s/he wants (as long as it is reasonably sound business-wise).

2 weeks ago I told Stan, the PS3 was sold out. This offer only counts for the Uncharted 2 / 250 GB bundle though. Now they still have Tekken 6, Blu-Ray movies and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time bundles available again in this superstore.

The number one PS3 bestseller at the store is Uncharted 2 special edition, I think they got hundreds of them on the shelves ready for the holidays!

Another game in stock en masse is Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. Last year they did that with Motorstorm: Pacific Rift.
