Theres a setting in the PS3 to change the type of font, maybe another font will help. Look this up in the PS3 setting.

psh, reading is overrated.

Assassin's Crred II's subtitles(somewhat of a necessity to understand some of the Italian dialogue) could have been a little bigger but they still are readable on the SDTV I used.

My PS3 made me get an HDTV because I couldn't read the text on some games. Now I am grateful I couldn't read it cuz if I didn't have a problem I would still be stuck in an SD era. HDTV is so much better for games and movies. Make the jump already.

Get a HDTV and read some next-gen text.

This is excellent.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

i'm actually still surprised you are still using an sdtv and not a hdtv for the ps3. that console is made for use of an hdtv. make the change and go hd, that's probably why you cannot read the text clearly. (sent via Blackberry)

i know that, i had my X360 before i got a better TV. As all said already, the only solution is to get a HDTV. :( (or using your PC screen, but i doubt you have one with HDMI/HDCP).

^^^ If you have a PC Monitor that can recieve DVI [mine had a port for DVI-D] there are HDMI to DVI cables that work just fine on PS3. You'll have to use something else for audio though. I use the standard composite cables that come with the system and I have an adapter to use them on my PC's speakers.
