This is the one where it keeps happening for me. A post will be made there, I will go there, then navigate away from the page, and then when it is still orange I see that it has -3 new posts.

EDIT:

I just went there and navigated away from the page, and now it says -3 posts. That is the only change made: my navigating through it.

I'm going to rescind that.

I find that it happens in every single topic when I enter it through my Recent Posts list and then navigate away from the page. It just happened here:

If it matters, I navigate away by clicking the "forum" button so I go to the forum list, and I enter the topics from that same page.

I figured out something about it. It only does this on new pages. And if you were to push the "quote" button on somebody then you would be able to see the posts.

Y2K the aftermath confirmed?

It happened to me once then stopped after changing my posts per page from 100 to 50. I think it's funny in a way.

I'm VERY VERY sure that this has something to do with the downtime of VGChartz.

I posted in my 360 console exclusives thread twice while the server was down. It somehow still acepted the posts, but they aren't counted to the total number.

That's my reason of why it says -2 here

I also looked at the posts before and after the downtime, so that's basically the only reason I could think of
