Guys, he's saying that SE is hyping up sales and game quality, because they want to hype the game up for marketing purposes. They think that any talk about FFXIII is good talk, and us talking about it right now might help sell copies.

He is saying that they know it won't sell as well as they say, but they say it to spread the word about the game and get people talking.

I doubt that's the truth, but that's what he's saying. This thread, as I understand it, wasn't about how much the game will sell, but about SE's motivations for overhyping sales. Craziness, or craziness like fox?

Ofcourse they want to make their game seem like the best & say it will sell amazing

Ofcourse imo its ALL TRUE, but for non-believers its more reassuring

this is S-E's job

When we have an "exam"....we revise for it to succeeed
