I think the copyright holders are scoring better than 1, since they've also shut down suprnova and thepiratebay.

Eventually these trackers will set up shop in jurisdictions that don't give a damn about copyright law. I'm sure some are already set up in such locations and they get more popular every time one of the big boys gets shut down.

really? http://thepiratebay.org/

I stand corrected. I saw all their problems in EU courts and this article:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/10/02/google_removes_pirate_bay_homepage/

But I missed this update a few days later:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/10/05/google_piratebay/

As you can see, I don't use the site much, myself.

I always liked minonova, but it's been several months since the site has been worth using.

C'mon guys! Do you really think piracy will be stopped this easily?

:(

Mininova's the site that gave me my Megas XLR full-series torrent.

EDIT: Though i agree with this move, if it means that they won't terrorize the people who were using mininova, suing a few unfortunates for hundreds of thousands of dollars for maybe a few hundred dollars of lost revenue. Cut it off at the source, sue the sites that allow it, if you have to sue anyone.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Maybe it should read copyrights 1 - pirates 1000000000?
