As far as we know from both characters, Lightning has the biggest development so far, so this isn't a fair comparison. I'll wait till both characters are out.

because Vanille is EVERYTHING that I hate about generic FF characters

Squeky voice....check

Same hapy expression on face.....check

screams in an annoying way.....check (after the trailer released yesterday my fears were confirmed)

BUT on the FF13 website it says "her cute outer form bears no resembance to the dark resolve within"....& her summon matches this "dark resolve"....as its Dark & has BIG guns

so maybe Vanille will be more interesting

BUT LIGHTNING is BADASS....but with emotions!

Bah, nothing is better to me than a Redhead :P

My opinion may change once I get to play the game, but without it, redhead vanille > Lightning :P
