Incredible the fourth porting of a masterpiece is now a millionseller (t o retailers obviously ).

I forgot, Wii gamers aren't core gamers / sarcasm

Yes, that would somewhat sabotage the sales on the other 2 platforms.

I am very happy. I think PS2/GC sales for RE4 were a bit disappointing (considering the quality of the game).
Now back to the "Buy Zack and Wiki or get banned" campaign.

I have been waiting for this announcement. Frankly it happened before the holidays and I thought it would be after. I think we can pretty much call it 1,000,000 sold by Xmas. This could be a sign of great thigns to come. An easy pile of cash like this is what allows them to take risks on games like Zack & Wiki.

I too believe we will wee some sort of RE5. They have figured out the controls and they can easily down-res the game. So I expect after the launch on the big systems and the initial surge of sales you will see a port turn up the following holiday.



Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

To be honest, I don't really like the idea of a port from 360/PS3 to Wii. I love RE, but the Wii games that are multiplat haven't been the greatest on Wii (Need for Speed, Fifa etc..). I know most of this is EA and Simpsons supposedly is great on Wii, but it still will be a graphical downgrade with great controls. RE4 Wii was the ultimate edition for that game.
I'd rather have RE 1-3 complete redone for Wii with the same exellent controls as RE4, 16:9, 480p and better graphics.

 I agree. I'd rather have a RE with Wii in mind than a poor port of RE5. Imagine pulling levers, pushing zombies back, even opening doors with the remote+nunchuck combo. Damn, those actions make MP3 much more playable than it already is; I really want remakes of RE1-3 or even better new games parallel to RE5.
