I have been waiting for this announcement. Frankly it happened before the holidays and I thought it would be after. I think we can pretty much call it 1,000,000 sold by Xmas. This could be a sign of great thigns to come. An easy pile of cash like this is what allows them to take risks on games like Zack & Wiki.
I too believe we will wee some sort of RE5. They have figured out the controls and they can easily down-res the game. So I expect after the launch on the big systems and the initial surge of sales you will see a port turn up the following holiday.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
