-360 Slim came out of nowhere. The console is gaining serious momentum

-Halo: Reach is set for the biggest launch of all time on a single platform

- Wii is more d0med than ever

- Interest in Sony's alternative seems comparitively low

Not only Kinect will put the X on top for the rest of the gen as, with low cost production games aiming towards a low piracy segment of casuals, ensure profits and profits.

One thing is for sure, Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 won't have that much brand power differenciating them next gen. And MS will probably invest much more than they did this gen to gain an almost monopole in both NA and EU (finally forgetting Japan).

Nah i agree, Kinect will probably put the 360 ahead, and it will give it the edge it needs over its rivals. I dont see it doing Wii 2008 numbers, but maybe more like 2007. wii needs something to revitalize it, but there's nothing really there yet

if that happens then we can safely say that next gen ms will have drop the xbox, and make a console called kinect. all the games will be casuals, their will be no controller no xbox live, only a kinect with casual games.

also if more fable,gears,halo games are made they will go on the pc.
