I've been mildly interested in watching these Beatles vs Taylor Swift threads up until now, but I think I need to say something.

Taylor Swift is good, but she's not the Beatles. I didn't even know about her until I saw these threads, so I went to youtube to listen to a few of her songs. I enjoyed them (at least, they didn't make me want to puke like Miley Cyrus... I was searching for Aly and AJ and found one of Miley's songs on accident... ) but I don't think she's anywhere near being "the female Beatles."

Yea, and GLORIANA a band that TOURED with TAYLOR SWIFT beat her in breakthrough artist, just because the TAYLOR FANS took over the AMAs, heck it was a country night.

Doesn't really matter, the big one is the GRAMMYs, and biased fans won't be able to decide, its going to be decided upon sales, effort, and talent.

Taylor tells stories in her music. She records and sings REAL music. Miley just sings tunes pitched at her. Taylor crafts and writes and produces her music. She's a real musician.

I like her because I can some what relate to what she sings about. I love country music but I cant relate to any drinking songs, or red neck partying

Ah, so they were just capitalizing on his death. Figures. The Grammys did the same thing when Ray Charles died.

I hope Taylor wins all the Grammy awards too! Especially Album Of The Year!

No Way! I love Gloriana, the song Cry on Command is so sad,I'm glad they won, But I'm surprisewd Lady Gaga didn't, I always thought she was more popular

They won cause they toured with Taylor. They seemed really happy. I was also shocked Gaga didn't win.
