ESRB ratings aren't meant to 'tell' you what the targeted demographic is. It is more of a guideline, though not a strict one. So Mature isn't directly correlating with "Older" nor does it have a good title imo. Mature is far from what these games should be called.

Geist was MADE by N-space, the devs of titles like Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Winter.

Eternal Darkness was MADE by Silicon Knights. Creators of Too Human.


Neither of which was MADE by Nintendo I believe.

I'd say when the IP is owned by the Publisher, that is good enought to constitute a game as being "made" by them, due to the amount of support they will put into the developement. Eternal Darkness is an example of one such IPs. Nintendo is either a publisher or a Console maker, there are many developing groups owned by Nintendo, but technically they don't 'make' any of their games.
