Forums - Sony - Frequent freezing since 3.10

No problem with mine, I can sync trophies fine, and no freezing at all. Bluray movie or disc based game, or psn game.

Okie, no updates for me then for a while. Though TBH I absolutely loathe the monthly updates and its one reason to not visit the PSN. Slightly off and on topic but I wish they would go for 3/6 monthly updates and test them a little better to prevent this kind of thing from happening.

To be fair, I think adding facebook was quite a big deal, M$ announced it in their E3 press confererence. It would be nice though if they could release an update which didn't need to be fixed within a week

Not for me! I don't even have an email account that I use for more than online signups. You see im a luddite and definately not deserving of teh cell.

Though for me the fact that the updates need to be updated is an injury to my previous insult.

I dont have any problems with this uptade yet. Hell, they even fixed Uncharted 2 freezing part

Are you talking about chapter 25? It is no problem, it freezes, you restart and you are just a little further down the corridoor


The freezing part is in that room with guardians and soldiers on both sides. After you kill all the guardians and pick up GAU-25 the game freezes. 3.10 fixed that

I am used to the updates by now, but the annoying is, even when the 360 does have to update, it is much quicker, especially with games, and that is the real bore

My 360 theoretically has updates but I have been binging on PS3 and PC games recently so I wouldn't know. The real bore for me is that it hasn't done anything exciting like breaking down on me. The Xbox 360 has always been a disapointment to me because of that fact.

I guess you'd have to have a face to be on facebook so I presume you'd have to be a real person. Im not sure what PS3s impersonating as real people do, go on Myspace?

Well I did notice that my ps3 froze a lot lately when playing modern warfare 2... So it's because of 3.10?

Since the update, my PS3 has been having trouble recognizing Blu-Ray movies upon powering up. I have to eject it and put it back in once the XMB has popped up.

Not sure if it's the update or if my PS3 is on the fritz... I have a 60 gig.

It might be time to clean your drive (blu-ray or dvd cleaner works just fine).  I have had no problems with shut offs or random freezes; but I have noticed that synching trophies wihile in-game results in a weird error message.  Other than that no complaints (I also have a 60 gig and a slim).
