Forums - Microsoft - How can i defend a 360 when this happens.. (Lots of cursing)

DirtyP2002

Heck I keep the box and the recipients for all electronics cause stuff cruds out so much these days, just the age we live in. Everything is disposable.

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

Dude. You were on Xbox Live almost 24 hours a day. I'm not exaggerating. Sometimes, you'd be offline and STILL somehow be online (please explain how you do that!). Your Xbox got worked to death.

I got the Xbox Satan didnt even want to fuck with!

But I want to add, that this is not only happening with videogame consoles!

I have to send my Samsung Omnia in, because the touchscreen is not working prefectly.
A friend of mine had to send his Sony Ericsson in twice, because it always crashed. You had to reboot (!!!) the cellphone every couple of hours. Of course you never knew it crashed. So expecting a phone call, better check you cellphone every 10 minutes.
My first 5.1 headset made by Speed Link had problems with the mic. Nobody heard me.
My second 5.1 headset made by Steel Series had problems as well. I can only hear stuff out of the left "speaker".

Remember the days when things worked perfectly? I think the buy - turn on - have fun days are over.

i never remember days where electronics used to work perfectly, it impossible

You never used

  • NES
  • Genesis
  • SNES
  • Gameboy
  • Walkman (tape)
  • magnetic tape

I have all this working perfectly here. Heck we still have a flashlight from World War II and it is still working. My first cellphone (of course without colours) is still working fine.

The newer technology breaks much easier.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

@DirtyP

I hear that man, i can go get my NES plug it in and be playing some SMB in less than 10 minutes.

What? You think you've had it bad?

In the past couple of years my PS3  has gone down twice, my PSU in my computer died which took out my motherboard and the fan supplying cool air to my HDDs and recently I lost 3 of the HDDs which had to be replaced. My Wii died and the only bright light is my Xbox 360 which quite frankly due to massive neglect and deliberately putting it in harms way deservedly should have died as well being mere inches away from a 2400W oil heater for months and yet it still soldiers on!

Tease.

and yet my nes still works.

these days corporations take short cuts to maximize profits only to break on us.

Lol that's right, my good ol' NES, SNES and GameBoy Phat still work flawlessly! :) I think I might even have a Walkman lying around somewhere too, I'm sure that still works as well. :p
