ZeldaWii needs to learn from the Zelda games on the NES and a Link to the Past.

I think there is merit there, as long as it doesn't borrow anything from the stylistic side of it. I don't know what it is, but i can't stand Fallout 3 from an aesthetic perspective from what i've seen of it.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I'd rather have Zelda learn from the mistakes of old Zelda games.

i agree With some of you guys , i posted this because its interesting...But i do think Zelda Needs a change of gameplay something new bot just a new sword or new graphics i mean the way you interact with the world , but with the Wii's Hardware thats kind of hard to make big changes .
Atto Suggests...:
Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series
Game - Metro Last Light
TV - Deadwood
Music - Forest Swords

How do you figure? Explain your reasoning please.
The author says "Fallout 3 shipped 4.7 million in its first week, alone". He also says "Ocarina of Time sold 7.8 million".
Why mix apples and oranges?
And no. The majority of us are quite happy with Zelda's evolution. Twilight Princess was the last console Zelda game (not counting Crossbow Training). It got game of the year and perfect ratings from several sites. It's still the best Zelda ever, in my opinion.
Nintendo knows what they're doing. This is a good outlet for the author to express his ideas, but Legend of Fallout ain't happening.
Well im Mean a Bigger more open world , Where you can Do What you want , Loot , Duel , fish , interact with the world , where if you do something the story changes or the world changes , more dilogue .
i dont mean i dont think the Wii cant handle this, i mean i dont think the Wii can handle this and keep it Good .

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Stopped reading at 'needs more sidequests'
With the exception of games based around dungeons and dragons, and possibly final fantasy, point out a game that has more side quests than Zelda. If you dare to say Fallout 3, I shall slap you, then tell you to go play Zelda.
oblivion, i think it has around 200 side quest lol

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

From the Elder Scrolls wiki page
"The team, inspired by Ultima Underworld and Dungeons & Dragons"
I call a technical win for myself :P
Anyway, I was being rhetorical. My point is that each zelda game has a lot of side quests. A lot of people miss them because they often aren't preceded by a dialogue with some npc who offers you the quest.
In twilight princess, getting 100% completion requires a huge amount of time. 20 hearts, lets say 3 are your starting hearts, 7 from dungeons leaves 50 to collect as heart pieces
