I HATE the fade parts. Not ganna get into why i just hate them lol.

I also got a Dragon scale from the dragon i killed and now have a full set of dragon scale armor i had made for me. Its crazy good but i need 42 str to wear it lol.

Can u tell me how u do thoes spoiler type hide thingy please lol. Thanks

You have the Dragon Scale armor already? Damn xD I've been trying to get all the pieces so I can get a shot at Flemeth, she abuses my party with her Fire attacks.

@Darth

Most fights in the game can be passed without using any of those items, I did the Sloth demon fight without them because I wasn't prepared for it to be such a long fight and that it's last metamorphosis would be an souped up Arcane Horror, so I had none with me. I just spread my party through different corners, hold them there and had my MC up front with Threaten and Taunt so that Sloth would only attack me. Kept spamming Heal with Wynne and poultices when needed, while Morrigan was spamming Tempest and Leliana was spamming Shattershot and Pinning shot xD

You can beat her without, i did. just bring ur healer and ur tank, NO ONE ELSE. have your tank beat the dragon to death. Keep his health up near full at all times. When she grabs him SPAM HEAL. regen>heal>grp heal...thats how i did it.

Well you can bring the archer too. Ranged if your friend on dragons. There like raid dragons in MMO's, AoE in front and tail swipe behind.

Spoiler:

Kage is the best!

I'll try to do that

but regen > heal > grp heal

that sound like a chain....the only problem is the chaining on PS3 is horrible...I can't do it properly....soooo I may have to use different strategy's

Apparently for us console people, friendly fire is off & battles are easier

I'm not sure if we can chain, I mean I have been able to kind of chain....but it never shows the "icons" being chained up to me

The way i beat flemeth was to take 2 mages(one a healer), an archer and a warrior. Set the mages and archer to ranged fighting in the tactic screen, also make them use healing potions when thet get low on health. then take you warrior and fight flemeth up close to keep her occupied while  the rest of the group will sit back and hammer away at her. bring lots of healing potions to use on the warrior because he will take some damage.

Yea good strat. I was a tank so i was stuck with one mage. The only real problem in the fight is when the dragon picks ur tank up and swings him around like a ragdoll then slams him on the ground. Then u need to spam heal.

someone please tell em what you guys mean by a "tank"

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

a tank is your biggest warrior that has the tank talents (the talents with stone heart, bellow, stone roar).

A Tank is a warrior who uses a Shield and abilities like Shield Wall, Shield Defense, Shield Cover, Threaten and Taunt to force enemies attacks upon himself. He's the damage-absorbing sponge of the team, allowing free movement and liberty to decide what will the other teammates do, without worrying about getting hit most of the times.
A Tank coupled with a good healer backing him up will make most fights a breeze, since you'll have two or three teammates doing heavy attacks on the enemies, especially if your other characters are Ranged or DPS like Zethran or Leliana with a dual sword combo (should you go for that skill tree).

Let me guess you never played a MMORPG in your whole life ? :)

Otherwise I have completed the game as male human noble and as a female elf magi so far and done pretty much every quest you can possibly do..( DLC included). I think the only quest I have yet to complete that I know off if the love letter collection (I have yet to find 12).

I would rate the game 9.5/10, better than Demon souls for me ( Demon Souls combat system is better but that game lacks the interaction with all the NPCs that make DA so good).

For party members I have recruited them all but I usually end up rolling with Alistair, Leliana, Morrigan , Shale or Wynne...( depends what class my character is). And I have romanced everthing that can be romanced in game ( and slept with everything that can be slept with too lol).

Best romances are hands down Morrigan as a male character and either Alistair or Leliana as a female ( Leliana is fine as male too but I prefer Morrigan so much...)

I rather Bioware works on DA DLC and DA2 than KOTOR :P

PS : based on my experience, if you play without friendly fire ( casual or normal) the game is a tonn easier if you control a mage...

PS2 : based on all I have seen so far I am pretty certain which of the endings Bioware will say really happened in DA2..( and glad it will be that one !).

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Is the DLC worth buying? I have the stone prisoner, but not Bergen's Keep (or whatever it is)

Wardens Keep is really worth it imho.

After you complete it you get a *Spoiler* Storage Chest

BTW this site has its reviews of the game up. Well once again i see why i come here. They have givin the game almost the same review score i do. 9.2 ( i said 9.5 ) for the PC and 8.5 ( i said 8 ) for the console version.

a little off topic here but i wanted to say this.

See alot of people talk about review system being broken and all. I kinda agree in the fact that metacritic is pointless, but if you can find a site or some reviewers that you share tasts with then reviews can be very helpfull. This is one of thoes sites for me. It dosent mean there reviews are the end all be all or the final word, its just that i share there tastes.

Okay, I am actually playing AC II at the moment, because I know I can get that finished within a reasonable time period! But once I get through that and get the platinum, then it will just be constant Dragon Age, I can buy that next month, and probably the other DLC... this game is going to cost me a lot!

oh thanks guys, I have NEVER played a MMORPG so I didn't know what the hell you meant by tank

I thought you got a tank in the game lol....which is odd considering the time period!

_______

ANYWAY....played an hour more....WOW its so fun shapeshifting from huge rock monsters to mice to flaming men & now to a spirit

everything makes sense as I have each form now, whats left is to go through each respective door & defeat the "mini boss" at the end of each section to open up the passageway to sloth

Loving the tact the combat system has & loving shapeshifting

Played 12 hours of it now.....as of now its my GOTY 2009, surpassing Uncharted 2!
