This game is so awesome. I love the cut-scenes so much!

Damn, I'm stuck in a battle in the tower of Ishal. It's where you enter inside or something, and there's this poison trap and they lit something on fire which almost halves the health of my party. I've tried it almost 20 times and only won once, but I forgot to save that one time I won and died in the next battle lol...

It's so hard to get past the trap and the fire.

What difficulty are you playing it on? Im playing on Normal, got hit point blank and didnt have problem beating the enemies.

Or maybe I am confusing the place you are with one I just have been to?

Are you early in the game?

Same here, normal difficulty.

Im early in the game, you know Im gonna light the beacon at Tower of Ishal but it's over-taken by darkspawn.

I won the battles outside but when I got into the tower, there is this green poison trap on the floor which they fire arrows at and lit on fire. Only 2-3 times have i managed to pass the trap without harm, just by luck.

Are you playing as Warrior or mage?

Try one of these 2:

1) Go very slowly. See if you can make the scene happen before you are that close to the trap. Maybe you can avoid most damage.

2) Select one member, tell others to hold position. Go to it. That way only 1 member of your party will get really hurt.

See if it works.

I am a mage.

1. I've tried to walk both fast and slow lol. But Ill try slow again.

2. Ive tried that but the others follow automatically after a couple of seconds lol. Is there a special command for hold position? (and is easy to find? I find the interface to be cluttered).

Thnks

I got the game.

Just installed it but i have not played it yet and have not really seen how the game plays. I seen like a gameplay video but not really how the game controls and that.

So would this game be better played with mouse and keyboard or control pad?

Open the radial menu. There is an option on the left (think of it as a clock and look at 10). Open it. There is an option to have them Hold Positions.

I think its at 10. If it isnt there, just search the menus. Sorry, lol

Good going with Jarvia ;) Helping Branka will be a pain from now on, and you'll have to make a tough, tough choice in the end of this quest.
