Well mercs 2 and lord of the rings conquest werent that good of games. I loved them in the ps2 era but its sad to see they couldn't adjust to new hardware.

Its such a shame too. The Sabateur is looking really good aswel. I think people need to take a closer look at this game cas I don't think EA is going to do much to promote it.

feel sorry for the people who lost their jobs, but their games weren't that good, i hated battlefront and mercenaries 1 & 2 were average.

I'm sort of curious as too how EA thinks they can turn a bigger profit on PC then on consoles. Expesially with a company like PlayFish over a renowned studio like Pandemic. I wonder if EA will close BioWare next.

Playfish is a risky strategic investment. Not an investment for immediate profit (they don't even have any revenue AFAIK).

They're afraid that "social gaming" (a new buzzword) will steal their lunch, so they want to have some "business" in that area.
