The whole "Bad Company" spin off is a far cry from the battlefield formula that's why I'm really waiting to the real Battlefield squeal (Battlefield 3) and I'll be getting it on PC this time, but BC2 is a lot closer to BF2 than BC1 which was probably the worst battlefield game I've played even though I think it's one of the best console shooters now. So my whole stand on this is that BC2 is just a pit stop to bridge me over to BF3 whenever it drops and the game itself (BC2) is really fun, more so than the original BC and tbh better than MW2 which I like. I seriously tried MW2 last night after not playing for a while and I really couldn't get into it.

now this I highly disagree with

Why? (I'm REALLY not trying to sound snippy. After your last post, I'm genuinely interested in your opinions. So again, I'm not trying to sound sarcastic or hostile or anything. Especially since I'm a console gamer and my experience of Battlefield has been Modern Combat for the PS2, BC 1 and BC2 Beta for the PS3).

Same.

that's the reaason you don't know where i'm coming from.

You have to have played a pc battlefield to know that the franchise has a atmosphere the console versions lack, and I think that bad company 2 is the least of them all when it comes to the atmosphere. Bad company 1 for me was a really smaller version of battlefield 2. It's like they took battlefield 2 and stripped down and put it on consoles as bad company. Still the classes and weapons and vehicals, basically the core game was still there, it was just a smaller version.

Bad company 2 however is an entirely new gameplay style, far from what the pc versions of battlefield is. They changed it alot (and I apologise for speaking for everyone)  and for me and most of my friends who have been playing battlefield since 1942, it not for the best. I think class based shooters should remain class based. What if one day in teamfortress the heavy was mixed with demo, and the pyro was mixed with the spy....... that would ruin the core of the game, and to some people who know what battlefield was that is what has happened. The class condensing as you called it should remain just a feature in this game. It would ruin bf3 for alot of people i know including myself.

You will stop having problems with BC2 when you try to appreciate it as a standalone game or even a sequel to Bad Company.

For the last time, BC2 is not a sequel to 1942! It is not in the same series! It's like:

2D Mario and Mario Kart

SMT and Persona

To a lesser extent, CoD and Modern Warfare.

feels like you move way too slow in this game imo, I was pulling head shots way too easily all over the place, that's console shooter for you as usual, gimped.

^It's definitely gimped but it's a gimped battlefield. I don't want to pull the PC superiority thing here but the probably couldn't do a lot of what's so great about the Battlefield series do to the consoles limitations. Now if you want a real Battlefield you should wait till BF3 but like I said BC2 is good enough for me to ease the wait till Battlefield 3.

Honestly, DICE should have made this PS3-360 only, if the PC gamers are going to nitpick about how it isn't Battlefield 3.

that's exactly it, its a great game, but no battlefield game.

shit is really really slow though, I mean, like, even slower than MW slow, and that game was already slow to a crawl.
