I never even knew half of them existed ¬_¬

But even so, VC will outsell a number of them, so all is fine by me

As for my turn... No comment

I don't believe there are ten more, but games like Final Fantasy Tactics were big budget titles. Nothing like the main Final Fantasy games, but it still had a lengthy development time.

The first one only, yeah.  For the time (meaning in context or in relation to the costs of other games of the day) it's probably comparable to Valkyria (ie: mid tier budget territory).  In absolute sales it's nowhere close, but if we're adjusting for that, shouldn't we also adjust for the larger size of the games market today in the sales figures too?

What's the point in this comparison if the PS1 userbase if 3x the PS3 userbase?

Edited:  lol, that came out harsher than I intended.  I'll just say I don't much point in adjusted comparisons period.

I don't know, Iwata seems to be bending a bit now to please 3rd parties, what with the sudden push of CC Pro and the bundles in December. If they ask for it enough, there might be a budget line.

....and I see some people are still upset hat TLR isnt on PS3.

Yes, because the The Last Remnant was such an amazing game, right?

Your flamebait isn't as good lately. You should work on it.

Topic: That's fantastic, but people were complaining that we shouldn't be comparing a SRPG to JRPGs when it was selling less than games like The Last Remnant. Why the sudden change?

Good accomplishment nonetheless.

My position is if Sega was pleased with the western sales of the game then they wouldnt put its sequel on PSP. How much has the game shipped according to Sega, anyway?

Sega's never given shipment figures iirc.  I think it may be overtracked in here too, NPD had it around 150k US ltd 2 months ago.

Thats a good comeback.

But if you look at MC it isnt a shock.

But I thought Ps3 couldn't sell JRPG's and the 360 could... when a SRPG surpasses a JRPG that should throw up some flags that the people who said that were full of shit.

Can't wait till FF13 NA Ps3 > FF13 NA 360 sales. (Which a lot of people said would be the other way... hell some people said 360 would sell more WW)

At this rate VC will outsell LO in 20 weeks.
But probably this will happen even faster, in next 10 weeks.

I think, we all can agree, that high quality PS3 games sell a lot in long term. Next is Demon`s Souls.

I'm just happy this means that the idea that TLR is an SRPG and beat VC at its own game is no longer meaningful since it didn't beat VC no matter what you think the genre of the game is. Me vs. Stick 1-0

I agree with you. That's why I asked what's the point.

Whoever said that TLR is a SRPG was ... absolutely right. I've recently played it on PC and was surprised by that.
