During their Media/Investor Conference, Sony hinted that the Playstation Network is getting a new subscription service. You can view the presentation slide containing the information below:

It is unclear what the new revenue stream subscription might be. Could it be similar to Qore, an optional service, or something more akin to Xbox Live Gold, which is a premium service required to play games online for the Xbox 360?

Its for there mmos thats coming, the qore subsriptions/ european version thats launching soon and homes clubhouse's and stuff like that. Remember The agency, free realms and DC universe online are coming next year and all of them have subscription type fees
