There's a reason Activision sent absolutely no review copies of the game out. It starts out okay, then ends up being absolutely garbage.

Tony hawk games haven't been that good since THPS2 on the PS1. THUG was maybe the last decent one.

tbh it has always looked like a horrible idea to me, there are certain activities that take far too much skill or practice to imitate in a direct fashion, and using a board controller is trying for that direct kind of control where you either make it true to life and amazingly hard to learn or simplify it to the point where the actions you are making have little relation to what happens on the screen at which point you might as well have a controller in your hand.

But all that is just a argument on the general concept, what really makes me think it doesn't work well is the videos of gameplay. Just doesn't seem like you have enough control to pick between a decent variety of tricks.

Tony Hawk's Underground 1 was the last good TH game... Oh well, good thing I own two copies... with one being in shrink wrap still.
